Sadler`s Milestone Restaurant in Emporia

Extremely disappointing. Can't believe the other reviews, however this was my first and only time to ever eat here. Only good thing to say was they had inside dining. The cook had left early and only the buffet was available. Overpriced, but attempted anyway. 2:30 pm so should have a cook, the salad bar was gross. No ice or cooling of any type for salad bar. Chopped ham was spoiled, cucumbers spoiled, tomatoes mushy and spoiled. Cottage cheese was not cooled. Chicken was edible and mash potatoes were ok. The peas were burnt, corn was scorched, meatloaf tasted awful. Banana pudding was inedible. There was no salad dressing of any type. Soup set to long and dried up. Suppose to come with ice cream bar, but ice cream was not frozen and ran out the spout. A totally disgusting meal that cost 30.00 that was left on the plate. Complained but did not do any good. Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning.. Will say that the waitress was polite and the only good thing here.

If you are a horse the breakfast buffet is good. Everything has way to much salt, salty to the point that the salt burns your throat. So if you happen to stop here for breakfast stick with the toast and bananas with coffee and you will be okay,

Says it's open 24 hours. Three times now I come through at 0300-0500 and the door is locked. I have eaten here during the day. It's okay. The food was a bit dry. But it could be a lot worse. The staff was friendly enough. Overall its meh.

My family loved both the breakfast/lunch buffets. The buffet featured favorite southern dishes such as 'funeral sandwiches' and banana pudding. We definitely will stop in again on our way through town.

Heading back home from attending a concert down in Durham North Carolina. At approximately 3:30 in the morning it was time for coffee and something to eat. As usual, coffee was good food was good service was great ! Never a complaint.

Wasn't overly impressed, not disappointed either.

Wait staff were friendly and attentive, food was good --but some wasn't hotter than room temperature, and the price wasn't too bad ($12.50, which included buffet, drink and ice cream).

The food was awesome but I have to have cornbread with my greens. No cornbread!!! And the service could have been better.

Great place to eat, big buffet or you can order off the menu. Burger and fries were good and there was enough to fill me up. There was only one waitress working and she was a machine. Tara kept up with everybody like it wasn't nothing.

They have a great selection of items in the store, buffet is good to, if you're not that hungry you can order off the menu.

Good home cooked food

Agnes is the best! Than for always taking care of us, even when we walk in 15 minutes before closing time!

Don’t go here. $12.50 for lunch buffet. Most of the food wasn’t good. Cheesy 🥦 broccoli was terrible, consistency of wall paper paste with the same texture. Fried cornbread was a dry unfavorable pancake. Couldn’t cut the roast beef. Go some where else and save your $30

We ordered the fried chicken with sides. Everything came out hot and good.

Great service and great food even though we arrived late! We were traveling and wanted a nice, home cooked meal and that is exactly what we got. Thank y'all!

Great Country Ham biscuit

Buffet & salad bar good tonight. Lots of choices. Free soft serve ice cream with buffet. Waitress was nice, provided plenty of napkins, always bonus when you have kids. Enjoyed the Sadler race car decor 😉

It's ok but I rather go some where else.

This place was poor and had little to no choices, they advertised that they had breakfast all day and a sunday bar, their advertised meal in not in the poor excuse of a buffet and their sunday bar is an ice cream machine with off brand chocolate and caramel sauce and some sprinkles. I wish i went yo McDonalds and had a mcmuffin instead.

I gave this what is three stars. the staff was friendly I was sitting near the buffet and I watched the girl without using gloves pick stuff up that was on the side of things and put back in the pans which is a big No-No, then she went away and came back with gloves on she picked up a pan of meatballs and drag the bottom of the pan which was covered in steam water which is nasty across the mac and cheese so I stopped eating. I would have given it to Star but the staff was very friendly I remember eating here about 27 years ago and the food was really good but I have the Wonder has this stuff been on the bar since then? LOL

Food is amazing. And for the idiot that said the food on the buffet was cold wrong place they don't have a buffet...

Good buffet lunch is good nice hot fresh food great salad bar also.
